Home sweet snuggly home

There are lots of amazing things happening this spring! I closed Lend Me a Tenor at Lake Arrowhead Repertory Theatre but NEVER FEAR if you missed it! They liked us so much that they’re bringing us back in August! Escape the SoCal summer and head to the mountains to laugh your butt off August 7-17. What could be better?

Speed Therapy and the whole Zing Factory channel is up and running and our subscriber count is growing. We’re getting lots of good feedback but of course, we need all the help we can get spreading the word about the channel. If you like it when you watch it, please tell your friends, share it on your social networks, etc. Thanks so much!

I am very excited to announce that I booked a dramatic feature film that shoots this fall. More details to come!

On a personal note, I am very excited to be sleeping in my own bed again. The mountains were amazing but just shy of perfection in that they lacked my husband and kitty, Bella. 🙂 I love that this job allows me to travel and live in new places but there’s no place like home!

Comedic web series, Speed Therapy launched!

I am so excited to announce that after months of hard work, we have launched Speed Therapy! I play a determined therapist out to prove that I can solve any problem in “four minutes or less”. In order to win a prestigious fellowship and prove that there is no need for lengthy, expensive psychotherapy, I must contend with a number of kooky patients, an unfocused uninterested assistant (played by Katie Page), and worst of all, my biggest competitor and critic… my father (Andy Forrest). I hope you have as much fun watching it as we’ve had making it! If you do, please leave us a comment, subscribe for future episodes and share it on you Facebook page, blog, twitter, WHATEVER! It takes a village to create a successful series! Thank you so much. You can watch the first episode here.

In other news, we’ve launched the Zing Factory YouTube channel! Starting April 1st, you’ll find all the cool content I’ve been working on for the past couple months including Speed Therapy (which I star in) and Jimmy and the Blitz (which I directed some of.) Please subscribe now so you don’t miss any of it!

YouTube channel and theater in the woods!

Lots of excitement this month! I just booked a play, “Lend me a Tenor” at Lake Arrowhead Repertory Theatre. Looking forward to doing farce in the forest!

Also, I’ve been starring in episodes of the soon-to-be-released web series “Speed Therapy” and directing a couple episodes of another series called “Jimmy and the Blitz.” Both will be launching on our brand new Zing Factory YouTube channel in March! More details to come.Very exciting!

Tis the season to self-produce!

I’ve been in self-producing heaven for the past month! Coming soon to a computer screen near you…

BRIDE V. BIRD: (How to be Hot Productions) I wrote and starred in this sketch about a type-A bride battling to save her perfect ceremony from a noisy bird.

SPEED THERAPY: (Zing Factory Productions) I’m producing and starring in this series. A well-intentioned therapist swears she can solve ANY problem in 4 minutes or less. Wackiness issues. Amazing guest stars!

SUNDAY SCRAMBLE: (A Sunday Scramble Production) You’ll find me here as a sometimes writer, director, DP, producer, and of course actor! An ensemble based partially improvised sketch show, we are churning out some super fun sketches!

In between all the funny? I shot a horror short, participated in an amazing industry showcase, got new headshots (coming soon!), and finally unpacked the last of our wedding gifts! My fall has been super fun and productive so far. How’s yours going?
